4th of July Weekend

We had a great weekend and I'm sad that it's already over. Chris's parents and sister came up for a BBQ on Friday night, Chris makes a mean burger! Later that night the girls went to a movie, "My Sister's Keeper" it was way good but quite the tear jerker! Saturday we all went out to lunch & the girls went to the mall for a little shopping and got pedicures while the boys went to see some animals. After that the kids had naps and then we got ready to go to the Stadium of Fire. Glenn Beck, one of Chris's favorite people was the host and Shedaisy and The Jonas Brothers performed. Let's just say there were a lot of 12 year old girls going crazy! They were actually really good live and we had a ton of fun. We were right next to the fireworks, Carson wasn't too fond of them at first! He had the blanket over his face with one eye peeking out, he wouldn't move or talk to anyone! He got used to them after a while as long as Chris was covering his ears. Raegan couldn't get enough of them she just stared wide eyed the whole time. We had a ton of fun, and the kids were troopers staying out till midnight without fussing at all! Thanks again Ed and Nelda for the tickets and for the great weekend!
